I first started working in museums in 2009. Five years (and a few jobs and a Master's Degree in Museum Studies) later, I began tweeting as maxwell museums.

 

In the following decade maxwell museums has grown into a highly respected mutli-channel news source.

 

I know the sector inside-out, in part because I've worked at a lot of museums. I've had stints at the Museum of Brands in West London, the Science Museum, the Museum of the Home, the National Portrait Gallery, Sir John Soane's Museum and the British Museum.

I've written about the sector for other leading publications too, including National Geographic Traveller UK, blooloop.com and Jing Culture.
